NYC! Free screening of action thriller “CLOSE RANGE” hits on November 30th!

,

FANGORIA will be hosting a free screening of CLOSE RANGE, a non-stop thriller starring action superstar Scott Adkins (THE EXPENDABLES 2, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING), in New York City on Monday, November 30th at 7 p.m. This special showing will be held at the Helen Mills Theater (137-139 West 26 Street). As an added bonus, members of the Gramercy location of Tiger Schulmann’s will be giving a spectacular live mixed martial arts demonstration before the screening!

Here’s the skinny on CLOSE RANGE’s pulse-pounding story…

After rescuing his kidnapped niece from a powerful drug cartel, Colton MacReady (Adkins) begins a relentless fight to save his family. The cartel has descended upon his secluded ranch with a thirst for revenge. In tow are a corrupt local sheriff (Nick Chinlund, THE X-FILES’ infamous Donald Pfaster) and his crew of deputies, ensuring that help won’t be coming any time soon. What ensues is a non-stop assault on the ranch, a blow-by-blow survival marathon for Colton to protect his loved ones and save his life.

The Fango screening of CLOSE RANGE will be a free show; to obtain tickets, send an e-mail to fangoriascreening@gmail.com. You must list “CLOSE RANGE” as your subject line and provide us your full name. Offer is good for you and one guest. Names will be checked at the door. Offer is first come, first served, and we will confirm your RSVP. Seating is not guaranteed, however. This exclusive event is presented by our pals at XLrator Media, who releases CLOSE RANGE to theaters, iTunes and VOD on December 4th.

So beef up and come catch CLOSE RANGE on November 30th. Fango editor emeritus Tony Timpone will be hosting the show. Plus keep watching this space for more Fangoria.com screenings this fall and winter!
