Check out a cool five-minute clip after the jump featuring interviews with the cast and crew of AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD, as well as some exciting (and gory) footage. Additionally, news has come in that the New York Comic Con will premiere the first full scenes from the upcoming series.

TLACult.com, an on-line and direct-mail DVD and VOD entertainment retailer specializing in unusual cult, horror and exploitation cinema, has announced the TLACult.com 2010 Short Film Contest.

Creature fans look like they’re in for a real treat with MONSTER BRAWL, a Canadian feature that wrapped shooting last month. Writer/director Jesse Thomas Cook sent along a few exclusive pics sporting some impressive makeup work and let us know a little about the movie, and we also got the goods on production company Foresight Features’ next flick, EXIT HUMANITY.

With just a week to go, anticipation for HATCHET II is running high and here's some extra incentive to head out opening night (as if you weren’t going to catch the midnight anyway): Writer/director Adam Green and stars Danielle Harris, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd and R.A. Mihailoff will be appearing at various late night and opening day screenings across the country. Hit the break to find out where everyone will be!

A caveat is in order regarding MONSTERS (debuting today via video-on-demand, though of course it’s highly recommended you see it on the big screen if you can; go here for a list of playdates that begin October 29). Don’t go into it expecting a scare-a-minute creature feature; debuting writer/director Gareth Edwards has a different dramatic approach in mind. But do go in expecting to see one of the most remarkable and accomplished first-film achievements in recent memory.

Jeffrey Combs first became a horror icon in 1985, exploring the outer limits of medicine to extremely gruesome ends as RE-ANIMATOR’s Herbert West. Twenty-five years later, Combs is back in DARK HOUSE, using a different kind of cutting-edge science to enhance a haunted attraction—with equally dire results.

Clint Eastwood’s latest, HEREAFTER, has a supernatural angle, stars Matt Damon and opens October 22. A new one-sheet for the film has hit the web.

Courteney Cox is back in SCREAM 4—and once again she’s the target of another masked serial killer. Hit the jump to check out the first official still from the film!

A teaser has arrived for the follow-up to this year’s ultra hyped and absolutely ridiculous THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE). And if you thought that film was out of control, this time writer/director Tom Six is promising, “the sickest movie ever made.” Hit the jump for the video!

FANGORIA #298 doesn’t hit the shelves or arrive in your mailbox till October, but we’re ready to give you a sneak peek at it now! We’ve just finalized the cover featuring an original painting of rock monster Gene Simmons (a removable foldout poster of that art will also be bound in the mag), and the Kiss frontman discusses all things horrific in an exclusive interview. The issue also contains chats with Wes Craven on MY SOUL TO TAKE and Adam Green on HATCHET II, a look back at Alfred Hitchcock’s classic PSYCHO, coverage of the must-see indie films MONSTERS and AMER and the latest Japanese terrors, plus much more; you can see the cover and complete contents after the jump!

We first reported here on an upcoming horror anthology called THE GATHERING that’s bringing together a slew of horror names in its cast. A few more notables have now joined the ensemble, and director Jon Keeyes gave Fango some details about who they’re playing.
