Although SAW V director David Hackl had to bow out of SAW VII 3D in favor of series editor and SAW VI helmer Kevin Greutert, he hasn't wasted any time, signing on to adapt Vince Churchill’s book THE BUTCHER BRIDE.

Production Weekly tweeted that Hackl is attached to direct screenwriter-producer J.R. Reher’s adaptation of the 2009 horror novel. Here’s Amazon’s description of the book:
