Exclusive music video: A dance of dementia from “EXCESS FLESH”

A tale of extreme, twisted obsession has its theatrical opening just in time for Halloween, and we’ve got the exclusive first look at a tie-in music video (with some NSFW wording visible).

EXCESS FLESH, which has played SXSW, Fantasia and other festivals, will have its Los Angeles theatrical premiere on Friday, October 30 followed by a one-week run at LA’s Downtown Independent (251 S. Main Street). Directed by Patrick Kennelly from a script he wrote with Sigrid Gilmer, the movie will see further big-screen and VOD exposure in the first quarter of 2016 from Midnight Releasing; Kennelly created the video seen below with its composer Jonathan Snipes, whose credits also include STARRY EYES and THE NIGHTMARE.

The EXCESS FLESH synopsis: “Jill [Bethany Orr] is obsessed with her new roommate Jennifer [Mary Loveless], a promiscuous and sexy hotshot in the LA fashion scene. New to the city and recently single, Jill is unable to keep up as she binges and purges to stay thin; eventually hating herself and everyone around her. Her jealousy and rage spiral out of control—Jennifer has everything, and Jill wants to be just like her. If Jill can’t be Jennifer, she must destroy her.”
